I will be updating this section of the website as frequently as physically possible, to keep everybody informed of daily life, special events and other personal news. A way of contact for the future, so to speak. With the new design fully implemented I can concentrate on updating the content as regularly as possible.

I will archive the blog each month, so you can back track if needed, and read back on any interesting bits you may have missed. I will also try to include photos as and when appropriate and any running entries will be archived separately so it will be easier to find specific categorised items.

11/11/05 - Friday 11th November 2005

So another month has passed, Christmas is fast approaching and as the shops fill their shells with overly priced christmas gifts again, I wonder if time really is speeding up...

So much happened last month, my visit to that little mining town called St. Helens, to prepare myself for the second half of term, and to receive my presentation evening prizes from Cowley.

This month has indeed been about the world that is, acemdemia. As numerous essay titles are given out, tutorials start getting giving out more and more work to do and lectures seem to be getting ever more sleepy - maybe that's just me trying to hard to wake up at 8 on a Tuesday morning after Top Banana! Both German and Business are going ok, although trying to read a German novel in a week is pretty tough going and some of the superfluous language used for Business is a bit annoying, but nevertheless lets us feel like were intelligent!

It's Jenna's 21st Birthday tomorrow, and as such we'll be going to Varsity for a "pub-lunch" and then at around 8pm, meet up with her family and numerous WarwickSnow buddies (how many invitations she gave out, she doesn't know as Vodka and Red Bull (disclaimer: there are other beverages available) at £1 each was simply to hard to resist) and of course the I-Block stalwarts in Rootes Social to get in the mood for another "Sell-Out" Skool Days at the union!

Leading on from that we also went skiing for a "taster session" and revised the plough - which is always fun! Whether it was real snow or some hybrid ice-plastic-y thing I'm not sure, I must research the composition of such stuff from the Tamworth website - and as usual, I'll be posting pictures of us skiing, being generally giddy after Red Bull and of the surrounding environment here in Middle England.

Again not much else to say apart from Piano Exam is extremely fast approaching, two weeks today to learn those damned scales. Red Dwarf Series 7 DVD is simply superb, again they really have pulled out all the stops, both with remastered versions and remastered and extended versions, all topped of with the cast reminiscing about their time on Red Dwarf, or in Chris Barrie's case the lack of being in some episodes.

And, in the midst of all the heavy workload I hope I'll update soon...
