"All Work and No Play..."
Saturday, 30th April 2005, 18:03 GMT

Just a few comments/news since the last time I was here. I have had a closer look at the summer exam timetable and realised (to my horror!) that I have 4 exams on one day - totalling 5 hours and 45 minutes! This will be the most tiring day ever! Whilst on the "academic topic", they are creeping up ever faster and as I start becoming more geared and organised toward them, a sudden urge for late August passes by.

Dragon Boating continues tomorrow at the Liverpool's Water sports centre - should be excellent, with a myriad of teams from the north-west competing head-to-head for 1st place. I shall be proud to be part of such a glorious event, taking place in the north west.

With next week coursework "send-off" deadline, I may not have the time to update as much as I'd like, but check back soon for updates.

"New York, New York!"
Wednesday, 27th April 2005, 20:01 GMT

So, yet another 2 days have passed since the last entry. Exam time is creeping up now, and as the nerves set in a slow smile rests on my face as I realised this should be the last time I spend sitting exams at Cowley. It has been great, but exams are very stressful and a brief break before the next four years at Uni drift by is highly desired.

Not much news since the last update, but Dragon Boating was fun yesterday as the rain poured down at Liverpool's Albert Dock Water Sports Centre. I have attached a small picture, but this is from 6 months ago - when the weather was not so inclement. I would recommend this sport to anybody with an interest in trying new ideas. It truly is a fine sport and one that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Next to report is the success of the New York 2005 DVD. It has been praised by many of college's students and staff and I am very please with the outcome. I will be arranging a premiere at Cowley Language College very soon - look out for more details nearer the time.

Not much else to report, apart from the up-and-coming general election - use your vote wisely!

"The Future is Nigh"
Monday, 25th April 2005, 22:37 GMT

I thought I'd start my blog on a random date, to show the randomness of the future updates. I visited Warwick University last Saturday: 23 April 2005. Found it fascinating - the campus was charming, quaint and "studenty" all at the same time - with its own "bubble" status. Hopefully it will be my place of residence for the next few years.

Today was the usual of days, with the typical lessons going typically, as usual. Not much exciting going on at the moment with coursework slowly being smoothed over, as the revision period sets in. It is always nice to be able to concentrate on specific topics, rather than the mass of information that is spread over a wide variety of subject areas (like those good old GCSEs).

Updating of the old archived andyholland.co.uk is now complete with the uploading of the Guestbook archive, so we can relive all those 'Joshicho' versus 'Biostud and friends' moments. Only part now to complete is the newer FAQ section, which I will eventually get around to finishing.
