"An Unexamed Life is Not Worth Living"
Friday, 20th May 2005, 20:57 GMT

What a hectic month - and it's almost over! I cannot believe exam fever has fully set in now as the nitty-gritty revision process takes over my life for the next month and a half until the very last of my exams are over for the year! First exam was the German oral, which I think went ok, although reeling off German speech about how the politics and integration success of German has changed since 9/11 was quite a difficult thing, I think I balanced this stumbling block with the other sections of the exam.

Next two exams are the last 2 German modules. Hopefully I will be fully prepared (as much as you can with an open-ended syllabus - as language learning demands) and do well enough to move onto Warwick in late-September. Obviously updates to the blog will be less frequent as the exams get more underway but check back soon for exciting updates.

"Bad Officials Are Elected By..."
Wednesday, 4th May 2005, 01:00 GMT

...Good citizens who do not vote! Election day looms and it's your decision, who controls this piece of earth for the next 4-5 years. Who will you vote for? The Labour Party who went against the people's opinion to go to war? The Conservatives who promise to put right the wrongs of Blair? Or the Liberal Democrats, who promise to abolish students fees, provide free care for the elderly, whilst being honest enough to say - yes to do this we'll take more money from you. It's your chance to change the country for the better (or the worse). Vote Wisely

In other news... I have fully completed the coursework for the, hopefully, final chapter of my Cowley Language College life and can now concentrate on the 10 exams left before I leave for the summer break. The only day being June 16th, that is creeping up, that scares me into thinking of the 5 and 3/4 hour exam that I have to sit on that day! But it does get 4 of the 10 out of the way very quickly.

Again not much else going on as the world drifts by around me.
